My Husband Rocks

The prompt this week is to do this little survey thing. So here it goes.

1. Where did you meet? On the corner by my friends house. She hooked us up and since we pretty young that's why we met there. Then we went to the Western Sizzlin' close by and drank Dr. Pepper while we talked. The 3 of us of course. I remember thinking this guy is really awesome. And from the moment I met him I knew I would marry him.
2. Who long did you date b/f you were married? A little over 4 years. We started dating May 12th 1996 and got married Sept. 30th 2000.
3. What does he do that surprises you? He always runs me a bath on Saturday and leaves me a card. I love this. I have the whole collection. They are so sweet. He buys me flowers for no reason at all or picks me up my favorite candy when he is out and about. He cleans the house and sorts the laundry into the appropriate places so I don't have to do it all the time. He bought my my new laptop with out me having any idea at all!
4. What is your favorite quality of his? His honesty. He isn't afraid to tell me the truth even though it may not be what I want to hear. AND his ability to express his feelings. This is something I really admire since I can't manage to do it myself all the time. Those go together right?
5. What is your favorite feature of his? My favorite has to be his big strong arms. They are so comforting when I am in them. Second have to be his beautiful blue eyes. Oh my goodness they are gorgeous!
6. Does he have a nickname for you? Yeah, but its not very nice:) Same goes for mine for him.
7. What is his favorite food? Anything that is put in front of him. He isn't picky at all which is nice for me when I am menu planning. His favorite food has to be Mexican though followed close by Italian.
8. What is his favorite sport? OU Football of course. Yes, we are still fans after the loss last night. Don't want to talk about it so don't ask.
9. When and where was your first kiss? I don't remember. I know that's terrible. There have been SO many since then and since I was pretty young I didn't find it important at the time:) If I remember I will post it since now I am going to have to rack my brain to figure it out.
10. What do you like to do together? Watch movies, even though I usually fall asleep. It has to be a really good movie for me to stay awake.
11. Do you have any children? Yep, one 9 year old daughter who looks just like him. She is such a daddy's girl and I am glad its that way. They have a special bond that I truly admire.
12. Does he have a hidden talent? I wouldn't say its hidden but he can fix anything from computers to house stuff, cars to lawnmowers/weed eaters, and toys to furniture. He isn't afraid to take something apart to figure out what is wrong with it.
13. Who said "I love you" first? He did. It makes my heart melt just thinking about it.
14. What is his favorite type of music? Rock and Roll/Alternative would have to be the #1 but he likes a little of everything old, new, rap, country. Korn is his favorite band though.
15. What do you admire most about him? His ability to make me smile after a horrible day at work, or a disagreement with a friend. I know I can rely on him to make my day a little brighter.
16. Do you think he will read this? Probably not but ya never know.
