Tuesday was my birthday. Nothing spectacular (that's just what I wanted) but hubby was awesome!! He did everything within reason to make the day special while also respecting my desire to not make a big hoopla about it. Thanks for that honey. He left me a card and cute balloon for when I got up to go to work in the morning and he got me some really pretty flowers and a cookie cake for after work. He also brought me lunch at work, my favorite Grilled Cheese with Tomato from Sonic.
Anyway, I told him the only thing I wanted for my birthday was to get one credit card paid off. Yes, we do have credit card debt but its pretty minimal compared to the average amount most families have. So I told him that is all I wanted because I can't see spending money on something I don't need although a new iPod touch would have been SWEET (that's what he was going to get me prior to me telling him not to). All I wanted was to have the credit card with the least balance paid off and out of the way but he paid off TWO of them!! As you all know by now, Hubby doesn't ever do anything that isn't way more than I could have ever expected. Two down and only ONE to go!! I am SOOO excited I can't wait to get this other one paid off. When we get our tax return we are planning on putting some, if not all, toward the last one. I HATE it hanging over my head and knowing that I owe someone else money!! This is hands down probably the BEST birthday EVER!!

Yay! Closer to debt-free is good. :D
Glad to hear you had a super-great birthday!!! Did you like your present from MoM and Dad? Hmmmm...not exactly in the "normal" realm of presents, but very useful!
That is so cool! Nothing feels better than being out of debt!
Hello!!! Anyone out there?!
p.s. What's the point of a new computer if you don't use it (to update this blog)!! :)
