I've Finally Begun

Hey everyone! Yep, I've finally started a blog thanks to my friend Christy ;). And since I like reading other so much I thought it was about time to start my own. A Also, so I have a place put down everyday stuff about our family somewhere where it will be easy to find and to keep in touch with everyone. Also, a place to write about random thought etc. I am not a very good writer by any means, so please forgive me:)

First a little about me. I am the proud wife of my hubby and mother to my daughter Turkey who is 9 years old. Without them I am nothing. They keep me in line and I appreciate they tremendously for that. I work in Medical Records at one of the local hospitals and LOVE it WAY more than I ever expected. I am also a college student who is working towards being a pharmacist. Its going to be a LONG road but it will be worth it in the end.

Turkey (AKA The Kid) had her 2nd U10 soccer game of this season AND she scored 2 goals!! WOW! I am SO proud of her and her persistence to earn those goals. AND there were just enough girls to play so she got NO BREAK either. A friend of mine said I had to feed her the same thing she ate for breakfast before every game LOL. Her soccer skills have improved tremendously since she started 5 seasons ago. Thankfully she has had the same coach since she began so that helps a TON!

***Edited to add-The girls won their game 7-1....How the heck did I forget to put that in? DUH!!! I am still new at this blogging thing right???

This afternoon we went to the local amusement park for my company party. We met up with some friends and rode a couple rides. I got to meet my good friends family too (we just became really good friends since I started working in my current position). We didn't stay long since we were all BEAT after getting up before the birds to be at the game this morning. We all had fun though and that's what counts after all right?
