Chicken Fried Steak and Wii Fit

Today I made my first attempt at Chicken Fried Steak. . At first I didn't think it turned out like it should have...the breading wasn't quite crisp enough but Hubby and Turkey ate it and I did too. That's an accomplishment considering I don't really care for the stuff. Still needs some perfecting but it was a great effort. We don't eat much fried food but that's about all you can do with Round Steak and since we bought 1/2 cow a little while back we have a TON. If any of you have any ideas on what else to do with it PLEASE send it my way.

Friday Hubby got me a Wii Fit for our upcoming anniversary, (Best Buy had 5 of them on the shelf when we walked in. Pretty amazing) and I must say IT ROCKS!!! THANK YOU FOR TALKING ME INTO IT!! Probably the coolest invention since electricity. Yep its THAT cool. Who would have thought that you could actually break a sweat playing video games? I sure did though. I just finished my first work out and couldn't believe that I hurt in places I never dreamed would hurt after playing a video game. I haven't tried all the things just yet since I just opened it this evening, but I did do Tight Rope Walking, Step Aerobics, Soccer Ball Head Butting, and a table balance game (I can't remember what it was called) and unlocked 3-4 new levels/exercises in the process. Yippee!! So if any of you are thinking about getting one DO IT! You won't be sorry. Turkey played it too for a bit but couldn't quite get the hang of it the first go but the second time she "played" it she said "The running thing is QUITE a work-out". She is SO stinkin' cute!!! So anything that gets her and I both up and moving is worth its weight in gold.

Hi, just an anonymous reader....just found your blog today, but I have a suggestion for your round steak. Put it in a cake pan, add 1 can cream of mushroom soup (I think you could use cream of chicken also if you don't like mushrooms-I've never tried that though), and one can of french onion soup. Mix together, cover, and bake for at least 45 mins. at 350. If you bake longer, your meat will be more tender. Use the soup mix for gravy over mashed potatoes. This is SOOO good, and SOOO easy! Hope you like it!!
