There wasn't really a prompt for this week but we are supposed to share an idea or two for romance on a budget.
I am NOT good at this stuff AT ALL!! Hubby knows this better than anyone but I am trying. After Valentine's Day this year I went by a couple places and picked up a few things on clearance. Last week I put some of the Jelly-like window clings on the shower door for him. They were hearts, XO's and Love. I think he really liked it since they stayed up for over a week. I also like to leave little notes for him in different places ie: drawer, closet, lunch box, in his pillow case, etc along with candy or something like that.
Now on to why he rocks this week!!
Friday night I left right after work to go see a play that was about an hour and a half away with a good friend. Hubby had to take Turkey to soccer practice then get her fed, keep her entertained, and showered. He also managed to wash her uniform and clean the house!! All this while I was off enjoying an evening of entertainment. I'm telling ya people...HE IS THE BEST EVER!!!!! He is such an awesome daddy and an spectacular husband. He never ceases to amaze me in some way, shape, or form.
He has also been working with Turkey to help her learn how to ride a bike. He is so patient and gentle with her. WAY more so than me by far. He can communicate with her and get her to understand in ways that I can't. I am very glad they have a bond like that.
And yesterday, he cleaned out the pool....its NASTY!!! Then proceeded to plant the flowers that we bought for the mailbox planters with Turkey. If he hadn't have done this they would still be sitting out there in the pots. I had absolutely no motivation whatsoever to get it done. It looks really nice too. Hopefully he doesn't mind me sharing that little tidbit.
Honey-I love you more than you will ever know. Thank you for being so wonderful and patient with our daughter. I truly appreciate all you do for us everyday.
