Turkey has a loose tooth. Nothing that she hasn't had before. She has lost 8-10 teeth so she should be used to it by now right? Wrong! Today she didn't eat anything except a few bites of yogurt. Literally. I have offered her everything under the sun but she is terrified to eat anything and just flat out refuses. She won't even swallow her saliva. She is worried her tooth is going to fall out and she will swallow it. Poor baby. I can't force her to eat. When she's hungry she will eat. I did tell her that it was fine if she didn't want to eat today but tomorrow she will eat more than a few bites of yogurt. Believe me she isn't shy about telling you what she wants to eat either. Which is why this is so weird. She is scared and I completely understand that.
I packed her some tomato soup, pudding, apple sauce for lunch and yogurt for breakfast. She will get milk at school. I try really hard not to make food an issue anyway. When she gets hungry enough she will eat and if she doesn't by dinner tomorrow I will have to become a little more harsh on her. She isn't going to starve in the mean time though. I don't want to force her to eat either because then its going to make the situation worse and turn into resentment and that isn't good at all!! Any ideas? Daddy even tried to get her to eat something and she wouldn't even listen to him. Usually he can get her to do anything. Please don't chastise me. I am trying everything I can think of including junkie food just so she will eat something with no luck. Hopefully this tooth will come out soon, like tonight. I am open to suggestions as long are they aren't ridiculing me in the process.
I can't help but think this is my fault. Last night she was wiggling and wiggling this tooth to the point she came out of the bathroom crying because her jaw hurt. I told her that wouldn't have happened if she wasn't wiggling it and if she was going to wiggle it I didn't want to hear her whine about it hurting. I didn't mean to hurt her feeling but she is a very sensitive child. I don't put up with whining at all though. Not now and not when she was a toddler. It drives me NUTS!! I shouldn't have said anything I guess and just let it go that time. Lesson learned.

We listen to Parrot whine every single time she has a loose tooth. This last time she cried and cried but wanted ZK to pull it. But then when he touched it she started screaming. He told her to bad. She didn't want to eat either. Then we went to a friend's basketball gameand she sneezed and it fell out on the gym floor. Wierd!!
It will probably fall out today at school. I am so glad that Brown Bear is done with all of his (though most had to be pulled by the dentist). 1 down, 5 to go.
We don't put up with whining either, unless it wasn't self-afflicted. Like running into an airplane!HA!
